Early life
Lehtonen was born in Finland and developed his ice hockey skills in the Finnish junior system. He progressed through youth and junior competitions before pursuing a professional career.
Path and career
Lehtonen played in the Finnish elite league (Liiga) before joining the NHL. He signed with the New York Rangers and has also played for other NHL teams including the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars.
Known for his versatility as a forward, Lehtonen has contributed as both a depth player and occasional scorer at the professional level. He has represented Finland in international competitions.
